Healing and Coaching: A Process, Not a Quick Fix - Why a Minimum of Three Months is Crucial for Sustainable Results

Working with a coach or healer for at least three months is important to get results because it takes time to make sustainable changes and establish new habits. Nervous system coaching, healing, personal growth or team building involves a process of self-discovery and growth, and it's not something that can be achieved overnight.

A huge factor is the time it takes to re-program our nervous system and subconscious beliefs. Timeframes depend on a variety of factors, such as the nature and intensity of the belief, the individual's level of self-awareness and commitment to the process, and the specific techniques used to reprogram.

Some studies suggest that it can take as little as 21 days to form a new habit, while others suggest it can take up to 66 days, and sometimes longer. Typically though working with someone who uses root cause methods and both top-down and bottom-up approaches will yield much faster results, than let’s day 8 years in therapy.

Additionally, working with a coach for at least three months allows for the development of a strong coach-client relationship. This relationship is based on trust, honesty, and open communication, and it takes time to build. With a strong relationship in place, the coach can better understand the client's needs, motivations, and challenges, and tailor their coaching approach to best support the client.
